POLICIES

• Maximum Capacity: Up to 1960 lbs. or 13 people for the Manitou and 1700 lbs. or 12 people for the Premier (including coolers and personal items).

• Inclement weather:  In case of inclement weather the day of the rental, Floating Toy will make a determination if it is safe for use of the boats.  If Floating Toy cancels the rental, you will be offered an opportunity to reschedule based on availability or issued a gift card for future rental.

• Children under 2 years old will need to provide their own life jackets.

• No pets or grills allowed at any time.

• Please arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time to check in.  Captain’s meetings will be held 20 minutes prior to departure time, not being in captain’s meeting will delay your departure.  All captains must take part in meeting before boat will be allowed to leave dock.

• Please unload your equipment and riders and park in upper parking lot across the street, not on dockside or bar parking. Check in at Floating Toy’s office.

• There will be a $40 fuel charge for tubes that are personally brought.

• $500 damage deposit is required to be held the day of the rental. Credit card is required.  PLEASE NO DEBIT CARDS.

• Any cancellations outside of the 72 hours or weather related will be issued a gift certificate for future rental. Less than 72-hour notice will incur the full rental charge.  Re-booking rental will depend on boat availability.

• Rental times are: Half Day Rentals – 11-3 or 4-8. Full Day Rentals are 11-7. Depending on availability, rental times may not be available. Pontoons MUST be returned on time.

• All motorized rental operators born after January 1, 1989 (approximately 34 and younger) must have boater safety certification. Persons born before January 1, 1989 do not need boater safety certification. ALL operators must be 18 years of age or older

• Temporary boater safety certification is available upon completion of a short test at  https://www.boat-ed.com/wisconsinrental/. The test cost is $11 and takes about 10 minutes to complete. Temporary boater safety certificates are valid for 1 year. Must get 80% correct or better to pass.
• Any rental that leaves designated area will forfeit deposit.
